SHIPPING POLICY

Last updated: 21 July 2026

3.1 Delivery destinations

RationBox delivers to the countries and territories offered during checkout.

Certain Products or destinations may be unavailable because of carrier restrictions, food-import requirements, sanctions, transport risks or local regulations.

Customers ordering outside the European Union are responsible for checking local import rules.

3.2 Processing time

Orders are normally prepared after payment has been authorised.

The estimated processing time is displayed during checkout or in the order confirmation.

Orders placed during weekends, public holidays or unusually busy periods may require additional processing time.

3.3 Delivery costs

Delivery charges are calculated according to the destination, parcel weight, dimensions, selected delivery method and order value.

The applicable cost is displayed before the order is confirmed.

Any free-delivery offer is subject to the conditions displayed on the website.

3.4 Delivery time

Estimated delivery times are provided for information purposes and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated otherwise.

Unless another period has been agreed, Consumer orders will be delivered without undue delay and within the maximum period required by applicable law.

Possible causes of delay include:

  • carrier disruption;

  • severe weather;

  • strikes;

  • customs procedures;

  • incorrect address information;

  • unusually high order volumes; or

  • circumstances outside RationBox’s control.

3.5 Tracking

Where tracking is available, the Customer will receive tracking information by email or through their customer account.

Tracking updates are provided by the carrier and may occasionally be delayed.

3.6 Incorrect addresses

Customers must check their delivery address before confirming an order.

Where an order is returned because the Customer provided an incorrect or incomplete address, RationBox may deduct reasonable return or redelivery costs from the refund where legally permitted.

3.7 Missed deliveries and collection points

Where delivery cannot be completed, the carrier may:

  • attempt another delivery;

  • leave the parcel at a collection point;

  • request additional instructions; or

  • return the parcel to RationBox.

The Customer is responsible for collecting the parcel within the period specified by the carrier.

Additional costs caused by failure to collect a parcel may be charged where legally permitted.

3.8 Damaged parcels

Customers should inspect the parcel promptly after delivery.

Where damage is visible, the Customer should:

  • photograph the unopened parcel;

  • photograph the shipping label;

  • photograph the damaged Product;

  • keep all packaging materials; and

  • contact RationBox promptly.

Failure to report visible damage immediately does not remove mandatory consumer rights, but may make a carrier investigation more difficult.

3.9 Missing Products

Missing Products must be reported to info@rationbox.eu with the order number and photographs of the parcel and its contents where possible.

RationBox will investigate the shipment and provide an appropriate replacement or refund.

3.10 Transfer of risk

For Consumer orders, risk passes when the Customer, or a person appointed by the Customer other than the carrier, physically receives the Products.

Where the Customer independently appoints a carrier that was not offered by RationBox, different rules may apply.

3.11 Customs and import charges

For deliveries outside the European Union or to special territories, customs duties, import VAT and handling charges may be payable by the recipient.

Unless expressly stated during checkout, these charges are not included in the purchase price and remain the Customer’s responsibility.

The Customer is responsible for providing any information required for customs clearance.
